    Default Marijuana and Master Cleanse

Is it dangerous to use the cleanse if one uses marijuana on a daily basis?

Truly doing the Master Cleanse you would have to abstain from The reefer for awhile. So other than a really bad Jones, I would say probably not.

I shouldn't think there would be any problems other than it makes it a little more difficult to keep your hunger at bay...munchies can be a killer.you also miss out on the mental clarity which comes from the MC.You'll notice a difference but no where the same as if you managed to leave the weed for the duration,as a consequence you might not feel so compelled to smoke every day. I know, i smoked almost every day for 20yrs!!! whatever you do see the MC thru till the end.Good luck

Cool Re: Marijuana and Master Cleanse

From my personal experience, I ATTEMPTED the cleanse 2 times while still smoking pot daily--the first time, I quit late at night on the 3rd day and then made it through the 5th day the second try.

I am currently on my 7th day and about to sip my tea for the night. NO POT this time and it has been SOOOOOO much easier! Granted, I did "jones" the first couple of days, but am so grateful for resisting this time around.

Also, while smoking, we are loading our system with carbon monoxide that bonds to our hemoglobin the way oxygen would...that's why you get burned out after awhile. Let's face it, carbon monoxide is a toxin and if our intent is to cleanse on this MC journey, then abstaining would grant you the most beneficial results.

Let us know what you decide and how you're doing.

what about a history of other illegal substances and alcoholism? i'm very apprehensive to doing the cleanse, altho have done my research and am excited to give it a try...im scared that my history will make the detox too intense and possibly dangerous???

I don't think it will be dangerous if you use common sense. Start to do the cleanse as written, and if you got very heavy detox symtoms what makes you feel sick, you can switch to a milder cleansing method, like juice fasting or even milde: eating raw, live food.
Although if you have a serious physical addiction to those substances you should definitely seek professional help!

That is a waste of weed if you can't eat, the two just don't go together. Weed and food go hand and hand!!!!
