Tongue coating

Is that common??? Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this a silly question?

Also, I want to know if anyone is licking their fingers like I am when MS gets on them? I find myself taking swigs from the bottle...lol!

But then again everyone is different.
I do lick my fingers though, don't want any to go to waste.

My tongue had pink spots, I looked really goofie.

i tend to lick the spoon. but momma always says, waste not, want not.

either the middle of my tongue get pink or the edges, i've never had a fully pink tongue. perhaps i've never cleansed long enough...

this is my first cleanse. day 9. my tongue is still coated and my entire mouth is incredibly itchy. should i be adding anything to this cleanse? garlic, etc.?

no you should never add anything that's not outlined in the original MC by Stanley Burroughs.

The tongue coating is a detox symptom and will clear up when you are finished detoxing or when you stop the cleanse.

try scraping your tongue. that makes a big difference. also, drink lots of water.

My tongue never turned totally pink until I stopped the MC.
Yes, do scrape your tongue, it makes a big difference in breath smells and you just seem to feel better not seeing all that crud

Hi,

I did not have a tongue coating before the cleanse but I started getting one towards the beginning of my cleanse. It was thick and yellow and pretty gross. I did a 35 day cleanse and came off about one and a half months ago and I still have this tongue coating although it is not as bad on the tip of my tongue as it was on the cleanse. Has this happened to anyone? What does this mean and how do I get rid of it?

how have you been eating post cleanse? The tongue is a sign of detox and usually cleaers up once people return to normal eating.
Do you use a tongue scraper? Do you brush your tongue?

Thanks for your reply! First, I don't watch will & grace and I really didn't mean anything by it. Jack was taken and jack2000 seemed something I could remember. My diet has been good, mostly fruit and vegetables and non/low gluten pasta and bread. According to the link you posted I have too much junk in my large intestine which is a diagnosis I tend to believe in, just a little curious that I didn't have this tongue coating before the cleanse. I don't have a tongue scraper and brushing my tongue with a tooth brush doesn't do a lot of good. I thought it might be candida but since it is limited 100% to my tongue I figured that it was probably something else. I think I'll try some P&B shakes, I've been thinking of doing that anyway.

I can see in your post that you live in Atlanta? I used to live in Peachtree city although that was like eight years ago.

I find that after the cleanse my body is more alert and aware of stuff that isn't good for me. So I have food allergies I didn't have before and basically by allergies I mean my body reacts negatively to certain foods it doesn't like. Which is fine by me, if only it wasn't food *I* like.

(Jack is a character on will & grace and he had a play or something called Jack 2000, but clearly I watch too much daytime Lifetime)
