    Hello,

I have been reading alot on the MC and my husband and I mixed us a glass the other night to sample it just to make sure that we, me mostly can handle the cayenne, because I don't do hot or spicy anything. So I have seen where other people have found ways. So my question is does if work effectively if you do if in as some say shots. Like mixing in water before or after the lemonade or may mixing up a glass and then taking a small amount and mix in the cayenne before and drink it and then finish the glass?

Also when fixing the lemon juice does it matter if there is pulp in it or should we strain the pulp out?

Another question is with the salt water flush and with the shots of cayenne can you also lick a lemon before, after and during drinking them to help with getting it down?

    Hello,

Newbie to the master cleanse. Im not in a English Speaking country at the moment.
So only got a little cayenne pepper!

But found chilli pepper!! Will this work the same? As not sure if I can get cayenne. My thoughts similar family and hot/spicy.

Tried the SWF this morning - YUK!!

But the lemon drink is quite refreshing in the sunny weather!

    hi squeezy,
sorry, chili pepper is not a cayenne substitute. try googling translations online so you can ask around. another option is ordering online and having it shipped to you. try the webstore or amazon.
it needs to say ground cayenne pepper or cayenne powder and have no other ingredients.

be sure to also read up in the general help for newbies thread.

By the end of my flush I was doing about just shy of a 1/4 tsp per drink.

Went through about 1/3rd of a standard spice jar full in 10 days.......

    Go for it!

Hi. I'm new here and have found this site very helpful. I'm on day 3 and I love the lemon-cayenne-maple syrup drink. Does any one know if it's okay to have this drink after I get off MC? Or do I need to drink the senna tea every time I have the lemonade?

hi meggs welcome! please join us on the general check in boards - i think this is the link, either way, it's on the top of the main page. http://therawfoodsite.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2861

also, take some time to read the general help for newbies thread first.

about your question, burroughs in his book says you can have lemonade whenver, or as a meal replacement after the cleanse. but no lax tea or swf is required.

Is there anything that can replace the Cayenne Pepper? My son is allergic to hot pepper, and I can't have it in the house. I am about to start my first MC, but don't want to waste my time if the cayenne is absolutely required.

From what I have read between Borroughs and Peter, it is absolutely required. Sorry.
