Day 7!!!!!! YAY....almost. I just wanted to post a little something. Today has DRRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEEEDDDDD sooooooooo much for me. Exhaustion has consumed me. I haven't had that many hunger cravings at all this cleanse, but I have been a little sleepier than usual. I also am taking 18 credits in school right now and have 8 am classes everyday Anyways, Can't wait til Saturday is over!!!!! Ok, well that's it. Everything else is pretty normal. OH YEA......BTW for those you despise the SWF like me. Drink it threw a STRAW , it's soooooooo much easier that way.....TRUST ME!!!!! You will be thanking me later once you've tried it that way. I went from taking me 1 hour of drinking my SWF to 20 minutes to finishing my SWF. Ok, now that it for tonight!

    Stay strong my lil lemonheads!

    Good night!

The more I read about people having issue with the SFW the happier I am that it does not seem like an issue for me - I get up mix it drink it down in about 2 minutes and go back to bed for 1/2 hour to keep warm as I always get chills right after my SFW. I did get a really mellow salt (Edan celtic sea salt) which I actually like the taste of.

Oh my gosh! That is me exactly and I was wondering the same thing. I am only about 10 pounds over what I want to be and was figuring that would be really easy to do not eating for 10 days, I am on day six, same thing with elimination and weight......but I have heard that the first half you lose water weight and the second half you lose fat so I am hopeful that we should see a difference over the next couple of days I am just going to continue by the book

Im starting MC tomorrow, and Im excited and nervous...I certainly do hope I can learn to not hate my detox symptoms. From what Ive read detox symptoms can be worse the more toxic you are. Im a bit afraid of that, because Im sure my body is quit toxix. I drink alcohol every day and smoke pot about 5 times a day. My eating habits are not good either.

I am determined to detoxify my system, and hope to get through the bad to get to the good!

Any other super toxic folks out there that could shed some light?

I started the MC 6 days ago. I have given in to eating something twice. Not a full meal or anything-- a slice of pizza, etc. I really haven't been hungry, only craving something to eat or chew. I haven't had any cramping or other side effects. Obviously my eliminations go back to semi-solid waste. Am I starting over at day 1 each time I break the fast?

    Yes, I'm afraid you are!

The MC is designed to stop digestion so that your body can focus on healing and on removing toxins. Every time you eat--even as small a thing as a stick of gum--you are telling your body it will need to start digesting again. It's absolutely not a good thing to keep giving one signal and then the other, and it definitely makes the cleanse more difficult to stick to and less effective, and it could be potentially harmful.

At least 90% of this cleanse is the mental commitment. The good part is now you know what it's like, what you will be confronted with, what you will have to successfully navigate. I would suggest you stop your cleanse now and take some time off, giving yourself a chance to reevaluate and make that commitment to yourself.

Then, when you know you can be fully on board and weather any detox or cravings or other things the cleanse may throw at you, you can start up knowing you'll come out the other side happy, proud, and much cleaner!

    Help!!

This is my second time trying this cleansing thing. A friend swears by it. I made it two days. My head was hurting so severly, I just had to stop it.

Today is Monday, April 13. I'm trying it again. I need someone to talk to when the going gets rough, for I know it will.

Yeah, you're not on day 6. You're on day 1 over and over again.

Craving something to eat or chew is a mental thing. When you get this urge, find a new *drug* to go for. Find something to take your mind off whatever it is. If you're bored, go do something. Go for a walk, go play with your kids or dog if you have them, go find something on the internet to get into even if it's a stupid game.

You should see how clean my kitchen is the first few days of the MC. Instead of eating, I find things to clean. LOL
MC on and off since 2005 = Some short, some long.

Red face Re: Detox Symptoms: Don't hate em. They're Milestones

    Hi all,

New to the site, day 2 of my first cleanse ever. Should I be concerned that I haven't experienced any of the negative aspects of this cleanse? I know its early but I want to be sure I am doing everything right...I am following it to the letter.

Today is my fourth day i have been feeling very tired, cold and feverish. I am retaining the salt water and trying to expel it. Can anyone explain this feeling?
