Well- since everyone is different it "happens" differently. Usually you should cycle through the entire thing in 2 hours. The uh, explosion can happen once, or twice or you name it. There are times when you think you're "done" and then you get a surprise. The best thing to do is to start the swf on the weekend to get an idea of what to expect.

On another note: some people aren't affected with explosions and you might be one of them!

(Ironically, the individual bathroom as of this am is now "out of order")
Just curious if anyone can descirbe the normal explosion vs. what is too much - without being too graphic.

Well, you're talking two different things here. Call them "texture" and "timing", if you will.

With the SWF, you will get extremely urgent (sometimes explosive) "runs" for up to about 2 hours after drinking it. Then you're usually done for the day.

With the tea, you will often get cramps, you'll pass more "solid"-looking movements, and it can happen several times throughout the day, even many hours after drinking it. But it's not usually so urgent; you have warning, and you usually have time to get to a bathroom.

I prefer the SWF because once it's done I can go out in public without having to worry about bathrooms.

BUT I am just amazed at anyone who can do the SWF and then commute on a train or such like! This morning I had my SWF at 7:15. Started going at 7:45. First one was normal; everything after that was loose and watery. And just now, on my 7th trip to the bathroom in an hour, I didn't make it in time! Had to change clothes. So I never leave my house until I know the SWF is completely over. There's no "holding" it for me!

Thanks for the replies to my explosive questions... they were informative, yet commical.
I am going to wait until this weekend to do the SWF, as I think I might be introuble if I do it during the week.

cae1016 - I woke up at 5 to do the SWF. It was out of my system by 9. I can to go to the gym and to work without having to worry about it. With the tea, I would be at the gym on the treadmill and my stomach would start rumbling. Yesterday I even had to get off and use the gym facillities because I had more working out to do.

I think it has something to do with the time you do either one. But like it has been said, best to do it on a day where you don't have to go to work so you can see how your body will respond.
You can't have success without some type of struggle. Just hang in there!!!

Hello all! Funny and weird thing, this is my fourth day of fasting and the salt water flush the last three days was amaaaaaazing. It worked fast, well, was well timed etc. worked within 20 minutes, was over in 1 hour, several trips were needed to the bathroom, can't even count.

Today it has been a full hour and a half almost and no elimination! Where'd it go? This morning at 4 a.m., had severe cramping and some elimination from senna tea. Could I have reclogged myself in the 'aggitation' cycle? That would be wierd. What if I don't go today? Does that happen?

    Smile Salt water flush

    Hi!

I'm new to the board and I'm on day one! I had attempted the MC right before Thanksgiving 2006, but only lasted 3 1/2 days and couldn't get the SWF down - it taste soooo gross and made me naseus half way through (and because I drank the tea instead, my eliminations weren't dramatic and lasted throught the day).

This time, I talked with a friend who said using a straw helps a lot- and she was right! I am soooo proud of myself, I got it down in 10 minutes and had an elimination about an hour later- I am at work and had to use the restroom here and could not stop laughing because of the comic noises I made =)

Actually, still laughing ... ah, bodily functions

Hey, I'm new to this board and Master Cleanser. I'm sorry if this question was asked before.

I was wondering if I can just do the salt water flush and not drink the lax teas. I'm afraid to drink those because I worry it'll have a negative effect on my colon or something. it's probably a trick of the mind. but does anyone else not drink the teas and do only the sea salt flush?

    Thanks.

I start my first cleanse on Sunday, Jan. 7th. I was just wondering about the SWF. I almost think it would be easier to down the salt crystals by putting them one spoonful at a time in your mouth and drinking them down with water. Would that be okay? Or is it really necessary that the salt be dissolved in the water before it hits the digestive system. I am so new to all of this, sorry if it seems like a dumb question.

    Fastjen,

Yeah, it happens like that sometimes. You might drink some water or lemonade to get things moving. It'll all work out in the end, LOL.

I had the opposite thing today. This is Day 1 (MC3) for me. My SWF effects just never go beyond two hours. But this morning I drank it at 7:15, thought it was done at 9:30, and at 11:30 prepared to go into town to a meeting. Just before I left, I had one of those "sudden urges"! Four hours after!

I hunted around and found a Serenity pad and used that, and of course that meant that nothing else happened after that episode. But it was sure a shock and a surprise this morning! I was so glad I hadn't left the house before it happened.

Hi 9eve, you must drink both the SWF and lax tea, or the lax tea both in the am and pm. They go hand in hand to rid the body of toxins. Not to do both of them could have you feeling quite ill.

Think of it was the lax tea at night as the agitator and the SWF in the am as the rinse cycle.

The lax tea will have NO negative effect on your colon, promise.

    hope this helps.
