I don't know on the salt. I use Celtic sea salt, and I always have to use a rounded tablespoon (3 teaspoons) to have it work properly. But I've never had to use more than that.

    Unhappy Re: Salt water flush

Hi SHAYDAV1, well...I did do the SWF on an empty stomach. I had no breakfast or lunch...so I figuered it would have been alright. I did feel some cramping and thought everything would go as I read (I have the MC book)...But nothing happened.

Anyway, I'm a little concerned, yes with the SWF. So, Day 1/2/3, fine, but days 4/5 have been totally dry! I upped the salt by a half teaspoon, that much grosser, but whatever and still nothing!

I want to know how much I should up the salt before giving up on the SWF entirely and going for tea in the a.m. and p.m.? Is 3 teaspoons too much? Four? Like how far should I go here?

I'm following the rest of it to the letter. 10oz a day of Lemonade and 3 glasses of water and the tea at night and the SWF in the a.m. I like the idea of the SWF and would like to stick with it to make it work, but I don't want to be absorbing all the extra salt, so yeah, how far should I up the salt?

    Many thanks in advance.
Hi there, i hope you are meaning more than just 10 ounces of lemon drink right? Like 6 - 12 ten ounce drinks? And drinking the SWF first thing in the am? And drinking a large glass of water after the SWF can help things along. If nothing works, try the tea for a bit.

    Ah, yes!

I'm drinking about ten 10oz glasses of lemonade a day. Along with a few glasses of water and the tea (at night) and swf in the a.m.

I did up the salt, to a big tablespoon, chased the whole quart of SWF with glass of water and success!! I did the exercises someone posted as a link, ffaaaantastic! Never been so happy to use the bathroom.

    Thanks for the tips.

Hi all. I am on Day 9 of my 2nd MC. For people who are struggling with the SWF because they do not want to get up so early, I have something that worked for me. On days I needed to be somewhere early, I prepared my SWF the night before and had it at my bedside. I set my alarm 2-3 hours early, drank the SWF, and just went right back to sleep. About 1 1/2 - 2 hours later, I woke up and had quite an eventful elimination.

Seemed easier then getting up 3 hours early and just hanging near the bathroom. I got some extra sleep with the added bonus of most of the SWF coming out during one elimination (instead of running back and forth to the bathroom)!

    Hello All -

I have a question regarding the SWF. I completed a 10 day fast a month or so ago. I felt great and worked very hard to keep my diet clean. I just got back from a business trip and found myself eating foods that have weighed me down. I was thinking of doing lax tea tonight and a SWF flush in the morning to try to 'lighten up'. Any thoughts on that? Also, is a 2 day fast helpful at all or is that too short?

    Thanks!!!

doing the swf is fine. i do it ocassionally when i feel blocked up or mucusy.
try doing raw foods only for 3 or so days when you do the swf, less detox, more fiber and normality than if you do the mc for 2 days.
