I am a little confused here with some of the above in your message so let me see if I have got your details correct.
As you want to do this correctly to get the best possible results I shall ask you a few questions first.....

What instructions are you following each day?
Do you have the Stanley Burroughs booklet to follow?
Do you drink SWF first each day?
How much water and how much salt do you use?
What sort of salt do you use?
How many glasses of lemonade do you drink a day?
What is your lemon jouice, maple syrup, water ratio?
How many glasses of water do you drink a day?
Do you drink your Smooth Move tea at night before bed?

The first few days is usually a water loss to the body and the real weight loss comes in the following days thats why a min of 10 days is reccomended.
If this is the fourth day of your cleanse you should have done 4 Salt Water Flushes (one each morning) so not sure where the 4 days and only 2 SWF come into your picture?
As this Master Cleanse is for health first that is what you get first, any weight adjustment naturally follows afterwards.....

I was thinking about waiting to start the swf until the morning of day 2. Is that okay?

    Hi there,

This is my first Master Cleasne and I have to say I am having some big troubles with the SWF. The first two days the SWF worked fine, though was very, very, difficult for me to drink and keep down. The last few times I have tried the SWF however, I can't seem to keep it down. After I drink the salt water I feel very ill and it always eventually makes me quite violently throw up. The whole experience is terrible. I have been combing the threads and see many people have said it is okay to omit the SWF and drink the lax tea morning and night instead. But it seems everyone agrees the SWF is a very important part of the MC and is very effecitve. I was wondering if this problem commonly happens to others and if there is any way to fix it so I do not have to skip the SWF and miss out on its benefits. I have tried drinking it both cold and warm, neither way seems any better than the other. I use 1 tbsp in a glass of water. Thanks for the help.

Peyton you have already realised how ivery important the SWF is to your success...well done
Did you say you take 1 tablespoon of salt in a glass of water???? No wonder you are having trouble keeping it down.
The correct quantities are 2 teaspoons of non Iodised salt (I use the Celtic Grey salt cause it tastes better) in a quart of water (thats four eight ounce glasses).
    Good Luck!

I am a bit concerned about the salt water flush. This is the end of day four for me. I didn't do the salt water flush on day one, but I can see now that I should have. The three times that I have done it have produced similar results. I drink it down quickly. Twice I did it with coldish water and the third with warm water. I am concerned because it comes out of the other end very quickly. I have to run to the toilet within five minutes of drinking it. On the first day it was more like three minutes. Is this normal? If it isn't normal, how can I increase the time it takes for the salt water to pass through? Is there more benefit to the flush if the water takes longer? My other concern is that four or five hours later I am still having to run to the toilet for small eliminations, some of which are incredibly 'hot' or spicy. Besides the salt water flush I have had four eliminations today. This is very worrying because I have to work a fairly physical job next week

Shakey, I hope you are feeling better about the swf. I know I get more concerned if it seems to be taking longer and I also have noticed that the senna tea from the night before sometimes kicks in at that moment too. It's even kicked in before I have my first taste of saltwater for that matter. I don't think that it is bad at all that it goes quickly for you as I'm under the impression that the purpose of it is to act like a rinse for everything the lemonades have done and possibly also the tea from the night before.

Thanks for the reply Ursa. The senna tea is also causing me some problems that I didn't have on the first four days. I am still having several eliminations throughout the day. Depending on how tomorrow goes I am tempted to substitute a different laxative tea.

If I let mine steep too long it will wake me up in the middle of the night with stomach cramps.

That makes sense now that I think about it. My only concern would be that if I don't steep it for as long as the instructions state I might not get the full benefit.
