Red face Re: Salt water flush

I am on day 5 of my first master cleanse and I need help. I feel I have been retaining all of my SWF. I had a decent elimination the first day and watery elimination the second but have since been retaining all the liquid and salt. I don't have to stay by the bathroom because I have no urge to go...at all! What am I doing wrong? I've played with the measurements from 1 1/2-3 teaspoons need I do more? I am doing the proper kind of salt, drinking enough lemon and water throughout the day and even do excersizes in the morning after the SWF to help it go through to no avail. It doesn't seem healthy to be keeping all this inside....any ideas THANK YOU!

Hey lexemex, I tend to absorb a lot of the SWF too. What works best for me is to do a couple days of the flush, then one day where I have a tea in the a.m. instead of the swf. I've also done an enema sometimes to help flush stuff out. And a sauna, if you have access to one, is wonderful for getting rid of the extra salt through your pores, helps your skin open up and clean out too.

thank you! I think I will do just the tea tomorrow and see if I can get to a sauna also...what a great suggestion. I am a bit afraid to mess with ingesting all that salt again. Maybe I'll try it again in a few days. Thanks again!

    Hi,

    1. Is there any Video where one is preparing the Salt Water?

    2. I am confused, while some says 2 Level Teaspoons, and some say two Full Teaspoons. Could any one give the amount of Salt in GRAMS?
(I used Level Teaspoons and for the 3-4 Days I am only absorbing the Water+Salt without any FLush )

    3. Another thing which I am confused is the Temperature of Water-Salt Solution. Some say Luke-Warm, while others say Tea Temperature .......
.... Well, I never drink Tea. If it is OK when I drink this Salt-Water Solution when it is at Room Temperature (27-30 Degree Celcus)? Does the Temperature really makes a difference?

    Thanks and Regards.

Put 2 teaspoons of sea salt in 8 oz. of warm water
Have 24 oz. of fresh water standing by

Alternate sips of the salt water with a few sips of the plain fresh water. I find that this makes it a LOT easier to get down and it definitely WORKS just as well! I can get it down much faster and easier this way.
Hi all. This is my first MC and I'm having trouble with the SWF. I was wondering if this method is okay to use? Would the 24 ounces fresh water do anything to affect the 8 ounces of salt water?

    Unhappy Re: Salt water flush

Today is my first day of the master cleanse. I just tried doing the swf but only managed to get down 10 oz before feeling really sick to my stomach. Is it okay to work up to the 32 oz each day increasing my oz.? I don't know if today maybe I woke up too late and waited too long so my stomach is very hungry. I'm hoping it will get better.

For those of you having difficulties with the salt water flush: are you using celtic sea salt? It truly does make a huge difference over regular table salt or just sea salt. If you're unable to find any near where you live, here's a link where you can purchase some: http://www.celticseasalt.com/ The taste is far more palatable.

    Very best of luck!

Hi there! I use 2 LEVEL Teaspoon and the results are terrific. My 2 other friends who are on the MC does the same thing. Try that first. if you think you need more than you can always up the salt quantity. Happy Cleansing!

Salt and water are prescribed at this proportion so the water doesn't get absorbed by your kidney which goes out as urine (as fresh water does) and salt gets absorbed in to your blood. Your body treats the SWF as "food" and it goes through your stomach and then your intestines, hence the "flush". I'm no expert but I don't think this method works... if you drink a glass of water while eating, I think you still have to urinate, as oppose to the other thing afterwards. I hope this makes sense.

Good luck! Try celtic sea salt as others have been saying it tastes the best... SWF is perhaps the most important step in the MC. do it right and you won't regret it! best of luck to you! keep coming to these boards for support. it has helped me tremendously.

I am on day 13 on the Master Cleanse. It was so successful that I decided to extend the ten days to 21 days .I have been feeling fantastic; clear and focused and full of energy. Previously my diet ws predominantly raw. My question is about the salt water flush. I resisted doing it for the first three days . When I finally did it in the morning it was the only time that I had felt really ill during the whole cleanse. It prompted diarrhoe (need spelling check here). So I stopped doing it and have drunk laxative teas instead. I would welcome your comment . Am I missing out on an essential part of thecleanse?
