Thanks AG2009 for the SWF shooter idea! I find it hard to get down a full quart withouth gagging.

Today was day three. The salt water flush took about 12 hours to work through my system on the first two days. Today no BM, not even water. I am drinking a full quart with two rounded teaspoons of non iodized sea salt. I thought your body was not supposed to absorb the water. I refuse to give up, going to try 3 teaspoons tomorrow morning.

A shooter of 2 teaspoons of salt might be too concentrated. It could be very caustic on the way down. Furthermore, if you do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, it's very likely to come back up. You might try drinking 8 oz of plain water first. Maybe mix the salt with 4 oz. and shoot it. Then follow with a nice fresh 20 oz glass of water. I've been thinking about doing the same thing. But a shot glass of salt and water first thing in the morning sounds too abusive.

Actually I've been thinking about the 4 oz 'shooter' with 3 teaspoons of salt and then having a total of 48 oz. for when I was experiencing heavier detox. I'll have to give it a try.

OK, the "Shooter SWF seemed to work quite well. I drank 8 oz. of plain water first thing in the morning. Followed that with 4 oz. of water with 2 tsp sea salt. That's a little rough, but its over quickly as you can get it down in just a few gulps. Then immediately, drank 20 oz. of plain water.
    8 oz. plain water
4 oz water plus 2 tsp sea salt
    20 oz plain water
Total 32 oz water and 2 tsp of sea salt.

I really don't have much trouble with the SWF. I can just chug-a-lug the 32 oz in less than a minute without much trouble. However, it is nasty. The "Shooter SWF" was easier to get down even though it is a little more involved in drinking 8 oz, and then the 4 oz shooter, and then following with 20 oz of plain water. I really think it will be a good way to do a larger SWF... say 48 oz or 64 oz on days that would be heavier detox days.

I can't say I look forward to it, but I can easily drink it warm, and it does taste like chicken soup, if you get your mind around the concept. The only problem is the amount and how quickly we have to finish it. I've tried both ways, tea 2 times a day and SWF, and I definitely feel better doing the SWF.

For me the lax tea is more unpredictable. I just don't know how quickly or even how hard it's going to hit. With the SWF I can plan on being 'finished' 2 hours later.

Also, I think the SWF is important. Like Peter says in the book there is the 'agitator" cycle where the lax tea agitates the intestines. And, the "rinse cycle".... where the flush rinses it out. I just think the tea at night and the SWF in the morning make for a good MC. But I understand as some people just can't drink the SWF down.
