Thread: Salt water flush

    Question Re: Salt water flush

I am on day 5 today. I am having real problems with the SWF. The 1st day I had to go back to bed for an hour before I could get up & try to get ready for work. Then the next day 40 minutes then I made myself get up & try but every day part is coming back up & until I can get some lemonade down I am sick. Once I can start drinking lemonade I am ok. So today I tried 16 oz of SWF with 1 tsp of salt with the Senna tea & I am not sick but again part of it came back up. It is just really not working for me. Not that I am not eliminating because I am right on schedule but it is really hard for me. Can you help me. I even tried today warming the water some so it would not hit my empty stomach so hard but it did not work.

    pammyk,

What kind of salt are you using? If your salt has an anticaking agent in it, that's often the reason for upchucking the SWF.

If you're using something other than Celtic gray sea salt, that could also make the difference.

Also be sure you're doing it first thing in the morning, nothing beforehand.

Change that if it's the problem. If you're already using Celtic salt, then my suggestion is to keep trying with the SWF. Some people have reported it getting much easier after several days. As you have done, do have some tea if you can't keep the SWF down.

I am using the Celt Sea Salt non iodized but it does not say grey on it. It is Eden French Celtic. I had a real hard time finding any celtic sea salt. It is better than the other in taste that's not what it is I don't think. The taste is very mild but when it hits it won't completely stay. And the tea in the morning not so good for working. I was running to the bathroom. I guess I will just continue trying the swf as I am doing maybe eventually I will be able to keep it down. I have lost some more pounds. I went on the MC to loose weight but as each day passes I am staying for the benefits & am going to go to a vegan diet when I am done because I feel so great except for the SWF. Thanks

Hallo everyone. I am on Day2 and the SWF has not been working for me. I juts figured out that I have been using too little water.
I put it in a protein drink shaker which only holds 750ml which is 200 shy of the reckamended 32oz.

I wonder if becauze of the less water I could add more salt ?
I may try this so I don't have to drink so much but I acktually like the taste it is not so bad as I thought it would be especially when it is warmed.

You certainly should not add more salt. That will make the ratio even less desirable, since what you need is more water.

You need to find another container. Just use a quart jar and you'll be fine.

The SWF must be 2 teaspoons (or sometimes 3) of salt to 1 full quart (32 oz, almost 1 liter) of water.

Thank you, I will try and find a quart jar for the next SWF.

hi. i am very much interested in MC. however as I wrote before I am not sure if it is OK for people with gallbladder stones. I was diagnosed with GB stones about 10 yrs ago. Do you know if MC or salt water flushing will influence gb stones? thank you

    Default Cayenne.

Can the cayanne pepper be taking seperately from the drink and washed down with the lemonade? Also, can I chew gum....can I chew something??

    Grizzwald,

No gum. Sorry! However, you can chew on ice if you want. Also, you can freeze your lemonade kind of like a slushy and chomp on that.

Best not to do the cayenne as a shot. See the Instant Answers section of this board (link above) for reasons why.

    Happy cleansing!
