I am on day 6 of my first MC and am doing much better than I was on day 3 (almost quit...had chocolate in my hand). Anyways, I saw it posted that the swf should be done first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I am currently training to compete in some triathlon's later this year and am usually up around 4:30 but am usually out of the house within a half hour to go work out. Usually I just go without anything except water but found today I was a little light headed in the gym. Will it be ok for me to have some lemonade in the morning when i get up and after excercise and then do the swf when i get to work?

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, but nope... the swf must be done on an empty stomach, preferably at the start of the day. The reason that the instructions tell us to do a lax tea at night is to mobilize the toxins and get them moving on out... by morning, you do the swf and it chases it all out.

I too am in day three of the MC and cannot manage to keep the sea salt down. The first day of drinking the sea salt, I have to lay down for over 30 minutes, but I did have good elimination. On the second day, within ten minutes of drinking the salt water, I have to throw up and I did. Today I only drank 16 ounces of the salt water flush, but I was able to keep in down and produced one elimination. If I am unable to tolerate the whole 32 ounces, can I just do the 16 ounces and receive the same results on a smaller scale?

hey! i'm katie not peter but i think i can help ya

read some of the threads from before, lots o good advice!! Straws help me and i like mine warm but i have had it cold in a water bottle to chug...and of course I use some imagination! be sure your only using 2 teaspoons of sea salt and many suggest the celtic sea salt! stick to this and you should have a good cleanse hang in there!

    Question Re: Salt water flush

    Hello!!
Day 5 of MC1 and feeling great!!...Five pounds lighter . I have a question and I'm hoping some of you veterans can help me. So far I have been following everything by the book and can definetely see and feel it working. However, Im a little concerned because on Day 7, I will be on the road early early morning for about a 4-5 hour road trip ...I can definetely do the Lemonades throughout the day, on the road and once I get there. I will be on the road very very early and I KNOW I CANT DO SWF that morning...otherwise i may have some "mishaps" on the road...LOL...Help??? I know i shouldnt miss the SWF...but I have no choice . ..will i be ok? anything I should expect, since i probably wont have BM that day

    Thanks!

they recommend putting lemon/lime juice to improve the taste!! I NEVER thought of that!!!
let me know if anyone's info contradicts this but I'll be trying this tomorrow!
I wouldn't recommend doing that. However, it's perfectly acceptable to lick a lemon or lime wedge in between gulps of SWF.

Keep adding a little bit more each day and try to work up to the full 32 oz.

However, it's okay to substitute another cup of laxative tea if you can't do the SWF. That would be good for the road trip.

You do need to do one or the other.
