I find after I do the salt water I am nauseaus have a headache and exhausted. Anybody else? I am on day three and have done it every morning but after my eliminations are done I have to take a nap. I know it is flushing but it occured to me that if some of the salt is being absorbed it could be bad and causing the reactions. Today I only drank half the quart, had about 6 eliminations and still felt exhausted. Anybody have any thoughts????

Can you warm the saltwater? I think this would make it easier for me to pretend it was something like soup.

Yup, warming the water is fine and does taste like salty soup!

I just noticed that my Celtic Light Grey sea salt doesn't say non-iodized. In fact, it says, "contains a trace amoujnt of iodine." Is that okay?

    Lala,

Yes, that's fine. In fact, it's probably good for you. Naturally occurring is quite all right. We just don't want added iodine.

OK So the first day the SWF was REALLY hard to do so I only drank half the amount, the second day it was no big deal but I could only drink 3/4 the amount, today it was no problem getting it down bu tafter 3/4 of it I threw it up. Is this normal? I had a small BM before the SWF b/c of the tea from last night bu tnothing after the SWF so I am thinking I choked it down for nothing.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Steve welcome!

You can't start new threads but if you have a question, just post it on the most appropriate board and other people respond as they read them.

As far as the tea, the one week would only apply if you were using it to solve a constipation problem. If that didn't work you would of course seek medical help. This cleanse however is different and the tea is necessary in the cleaning process, therefore you need to take it everynight you are on the mc until the day you plan to stop.

Don't worry you are perfectly safe. There are people who mc for 40 days and all that time take the tea! Without the tea, you are not properly flushing all the toxins down to rid them from your body!

    Good luck!
