I am starting Day 1 tomorrow and have a question - Are you supposed to do the salt water flush the very first morning? The previous times I have done the cleanse I waited till Day 2 figuring that there would be nothing to 'flush' until I had been drinkng the lemonade for a day and then the tea at night. Was this correct, or should I start out on Day 1 with the salt flush even before I have had the first glass of lemonade?

You should start the tea the night before day 1, and you should do the SWF the morning of day 1--yes, before your first lemonade.

Believe me, there's plenty to flush from whatever you've been eating!

    Question Re: Salt water flush

I really wanna give the master cleanse a try but, I can't find uniodized sea salt or the grade B maple syrup all I find is grade A. Is there a certain brand to look for in the stores for the salt and maple syrup besides the ones he has listed in his online store? What store does everyone here shop at and what brands?

Where are you located? Try finding a Trader Joes. They have Grade B Maple AND uniodized sea salt.

so i did the SWF today instead of the tea (which i did yesterday).. i'm on day 4. and i drank it in 10-15 minutes. it takes over 3 hours to come out of me. seriously. it was 2 hrs 15 min past me finishing it and i got in the shower, thinking everything was out, got all clean. as soon as i got out i had to "but pee" again. then i got ready for work, came to work and still went another 2 times eliminating significant liquid. what is going on? is my digestion slow? am i not drinking it fast enough?
    thanks for any insight!

    This is for Peter,
If he even reads these. I have been off the fast for about 2 weeks now and have decided that Saturday mornings will be my weekly SWF.
I havent heard of anyone doing this and was wondering if its OK? I feel great afterwards, about one tenth of how I felt on the fast. I wake up early and drink 2 pints of SWF. Between 30 to 45 minutes later I have 2-3 BM'S. I then have BM'S periodically for the next 2 hours, so staying in helps..lol.lol.
When I feel like there is nothing left I drink some fresh squeezed Orange/Pinapple Juice. Then Lots of water, I then try and eat some nut bread with Coconut oil as a spread. This keeps me good till almost lunchtime, I then watch what I eat the rest of the day.
Im am so grateful to God for putting this info into my life. I really feel great and Im planning my next fast. Maybe before the new year, or for a present to myself for Christmas..lol.lol. Im gonna shoot fo 20 days this time.
Good luck to everyone doing the Cleanse, you are on youre journey, dont quit! It is so worth it, God bless......Matty

Dude, SWF is the mainstay of the cleanse, I did it every day, and the senna tea at night, you wont beleive what comes out, even after not eating for 10days. Do it like the book says and you will feel absolutly Great! good luck!

I have to agree with Jack Straw, I always feel my best after I've had the SWF. It really is effective and sometimes it's slow, sometimes it's fast.. but when you find that it is slow.. you can get things moving by drinking a glass or two of water after the SWF.

    btw... i love coconut oil!!!

I'm frustrated that I threw up on Day 2 today on the SWF. I had the right amounts, the right temperature, a straw. It's making me nervous about tomorrow, but I think the SWF is a good thing. It's just such a bummer. And it has made me feel really sick all day. I'm drinking my lemonades. I also had an awful headache yesterday that finally left.
