I was wondering if most of you purchase bottled water or use filtered water? I know the water is supposed to be unfluoridated so I'm guessing you buy gallons of purified water?

I decided that the bottled water would be better for me since we are trying to get rid of the toxins and not take any in (flouride and who knows what else may be in tap water).

Any thoughts or suggestions for someone who gets little or no results with just over a full TB of salt in 32 oz of water? It just doesn't seem to work for me...I've been doing the lax tea instead for a couple of days, but would really like to see the results of the SWF everyone raves about.

Hello there. This is my first MC and due to my stats (I'm only 22 and in very good shape, a runner) I was hoping everything would go smoothly. However, I did have a bad experience this morning (day 2) while doing my SWF. About an hour after drinking the flush (which I did over a 10 minute period) I vomited it up. What do you think this means? Should I discontinue the flush? I did it with success on day 1. Also, I am drinking 2 tbs uniodized sea salt in 1 gallon of water- this site says the proportions should be 2 tsp in 32 oz. Which one is better?

Yikes! That 2 Tbsp is undoubtedly why it came back up. That's three times the amount you should be using! Please drop it down to 2 teaspoons in the quart. The specific gravity of the mix is critical, and using three times the salt ruins the ratio.

Also, check if your salt has anti-caking agents in it. If so, that could also be contributing to the upchuck. Others on here who have reported vomiting the SWF have found anti-caking agents in the salt. Don't use it if it's got them.

Part of the problem could also be that you drank an entire gallon of water. Ouch! It's just a half gallon with 2 tsp of the correct type of salt. There is such a thing as water intoxication, so be careful!! Good luck!

i know this has been asked probably a billion times, but here it is again...

if its the ratio of the SWF that's important, then can i do 1tsp salt in 16 oz of water? my problem is not the taste so much as the sheer amount of water to chug first thing in the morning.

Nope, that still gets the ratio, but you still need to do the whole quart. If necessary, you can work up to it, but it's where you should get to.
