If you are using a 2-liter bottle, you are using more than twice the amount of water you are supposed to use. You should be using a quart, or 32 oz of water. One liter is about 33 oz of water, so a 2-liter bottle is waaaay too much.

Hi all -- I'm on my first MC -- and today is day 2 (well day 3 technically since it's 3:00 am). I haven't been able to get down the whole 32 oz of swf -- and I'm wondering if it's okay to combine some lemon juice or ms or even herbal tea, to make it easier for me to drink. I don't imagine it would hurt anything and if it would help me drink it and not dread the morning routine... anyway I just need more info on that if someone could help give me accurate information rather than my speculation that would be great!

Also somewhere I read that we should have 6-12 servings (is that 8 oz each serving or 10 oz) I've read it differently so I just want to make sure.

    Thanks

Yeah, I read 6-12 8 oz servings. If it's really 12Oz servings, i've not been drinking enough at all.

    You should be mixing:
2Tbs (1 fl oz) fresh squeezed lemon juice
2Tbs (1 fl oz) organic grade b maple syrup
    8 oz natural spring water

That makes a total of 10 oz of drink.

HTH! Good Luck! I'm on day 3.
    Blessings to you all,

You should be drinking 6-12 glasses of lemonade per day. The "glass" of lemonade consists of 1 oz lemon juice, 1 oz MS, and 8 oz water. That makes a 10-oz drink in all.

You should also be drinking at least the same amount of plain water, i.e., a glass of water (or more) for every glass of lemonade you have.

I've eaten a lot of meat and have been making a decided effort to cut down on dairy of late, but I've eaten plenty of that too. I had a decent elimination the first day, but today--nothing.

I read here to increase the salt, but by how much? And is drinking it too warm bad? I'm on day 2. This morning I drank the SWF warmer than the first day and immediately vomited it up. I drank another one after that with unspectacular results...

I am just starting day 8. I have followed the program exactly as written in Peter's book. So far, I am pleased with the results. I feel much "lighter" than just the 8.5 pounds of weight I have lost.

I am not sure that I am "flushing" enough out of my body each morning through bowel movements. I have the Smooth Move tea at night and the salt water in the morning. I would characterize my bowel movements as small and liquid -- seemingly much less than the 1 quart of salt water I am taking in. Today and yesterday I added an additional half teaspoon of salt to the SWF. I have not noticed a difference.

I do urinate quite frequently during the day -- not surprising since I am taking in about 72-80 oz of lemonade and a few additional glasses of water. Am I flushing out toxins in my urine, too?

Do I need to do anything to increase the bowel flush?

    Thanks,

    David

I am unable to do the salt water flush due to continuous gagging so I am having another cup of the tea in the morning, as the book says. Should I be drinking the 32oz of water along with tea, just without the salt? I don't see any mention of that in the book or in the FAQ's.

    Hi nenour,

No, with the tea you can just have a regular cup, and you can brew it as strong or as weak as you like. The 32 oz has to do specifically with the SWF.

But definitely keep drinking extra water throughout the day, in between lemonades!

Hi - I was wondering if the temperature of your salt water flush mattered. I have been using cold bottled water (out of the fridge). Is this OK?
