Thread: Salt water flush

Thanks. I am doing all this in Eastern Europe, and everything is in the metric system. I don't think in quarts any longer, and it was a stretch for my brain to go back to that system, as I always thought it so difficult to figure out compared to the far simpler metric system. I purchase all my water over here in 5 litre containers, and unlike the USA they don't post the ounces. When I become king of the world I am going to remove the ounce/quart/gallon/pint crap from the face of the world. Rant over!

I understand now, just wanted to make sure I was not missing something.

Oh and the cayenne pepper, do you have to use the 1/10 , it is gross? And how do you measure that one out.
    Hi mfisher and welcome
    1. Get Burroughs or Peter's books which explain everything
    2. read the general help for newbies thread
    3. Find that all your questions are answered in those two places
    4. 1/10 is a little less than 1/8. Or a pinch, or however much you like. Burroughs says "to taste" so that gives you all the leeway you want.

Silly question, but other than trial and error, is there a way to decide weather you should add or deduct from the amount of salt. I have only tried the SFW twice, but have not had it work right yet (both times were mid cleanse).

that's such a good question atlantagirl. i don't know. i usually try more salt but i really don't know what will work better for you.
give it another try tomorrow. make sure it tastes like the ocean. have it warm. do some twists. rub your belly. then lay un your right side for at least thirty mins.
come back and let us know how it goes.

But be careful...I have found that because I love cayenne so much, I tend to put in a lot...and the color of my "yellow butt pee " in the mornings is more orange than yellow... At least at this point in the detox it is, end of day 4 for me this time.

queenb2007, that's exactly what you want to happen. The swf dissolves stuff and flushes it out. Please take some time to read the general help for newbies thread for more information. (link below)

Interesting happenings this morning...this is day 5 of the SWF, and I decided to try a suggestion from my readings yesterday: to lower the salt a touch. I did, and it seemed to have a radically different effect on my digestive system. Lots more elimination with the same amount of water. Not as salty, still fine to drink, but with less sea salt the elimination was greater.

Of course, this could have just been the difference between one day and the next, as a process of elimination, but who knows?

TallTravel, or it could be that that level of salt was better for your body. Try it again tomorrow and see.

Day 5 for me here but I'm having slower/less eliminations so far. I did add extra salt though because it just didn't taste salty enough.

I will, I will! Funny you mention yours did not taste salty enough. That is precisely what I felt the whole time I was drinking the SWF this morning, but I stayed with it regardless, and the results were probably as " complete " as any during the 5 total days of SWF. So I agree there is probably something about my body which fits better with the slightly different mix. I tried it because one of the senior members here said something about using only one teaspoon with her 32 ounce drink each day, which worked better for her than the 2 teaspoons.
