Everyone has different gag reflexes when it comes to the SWF. My mom upchucks as soon as she drinks it.

Here's what works for me - I take 2 normal size dixie cups. Fill each one up with cold water. I put in the freezer to get them both ice cold.
put the salt in 1 cup (2 teaspoons) and the other cup no salt. i then drink the cup with salt in one go - i chug it. i don't come up for air at all. once i finish chugging it
my stomach does feel a little woozy, but i just take a couple breaths and start to drink on the regular cup of water, and it seems to calm my stomach.

    i then repeat.

    works for me.

I am unable to to the SWF in the morning due to my schedule. I was wondering if I can do the SWF at night if I wait a sufficient time from last lemonade. Also I would then do the tea in the morning, correct?

I am not able to get uniodized seat salt where I live in Mexico or Smooth Move tea but I have found a 100% Senna leaf tea. Is it ok to use this morning and evening instead of the swf in the am and tea at night? I am worried that it will be too laxative as it is 100% senna and the tea recommended has senna but other items as well.

    Hi there Chancy!

Yes, that would work fine. Much better than using iodized salt.

With the 100% senna, you can just steep it a shorter amount of time or drink a smaller amount of any resultant tea. You may have to play around with it to find out the best brewing technique for your body. But it should work well. (It may not taste good, but you can always hold your nose. Especially if you just drink a small amount or brew it weakly, it should go down fast enough.)

    Good luck!

I'm not sure this is in the right thread. Tomorrow will be day 10 for me. So is that the last day I do the saltwater flush or do I do it on day 11 in the morning before I start drinking the orange juice. I don't know if it makes that much difference but I was wondering what others do.

    Hi all,

I'm about to start the MC tomorrow I have concerns about the SWF.

When is the best time to do this? I ask because I'm worried about doing this in the morning and getting to work and running too and from the bathroom constantly. I work 9 - 5 and spend the majority of my morning at my desk answering and returning calls and emailing. I also don't want people around me to start talking! :-\

Is it possible to do the SWF in the evening instead??? Please help.

    Thank you

It's not recommended. Everyone's different but I got up the last 10 days about an hour and a half early before I had to leave for work and drank the saltwater then went back and laid down for awhile. Over the next hour I had one or two eliminations (the first one was usually the biggest) then I'd take a shower and maybe had one more small one before I had to leave and I was good the rest of the day.
