    Question Re: Salt water flush

Hi. So, I didn't do enough research before trying the salt water flush & I need some help.
I haven't tried the MC yet, I just wanted to try to clean out my system before hand.

I wanted to have a few hours where my baby & toddler were asleep so I knew the night would be easier than the morning so I did it at night- and yes, I had eaten normal meals throughout the day

So, I used the right kind of salt/ correct ratio, just on a full stomach. It was not really painful, but definitely not comfortable either. No big urge/ eliminations and MAJOR bloating. This was last night and still- MAJORLY bloated.

I think I need to get some lax tea and try again, but now I'm just afraid that my body took in all that sodium. How long should I wait to try again (& this time I'll take the tea at night and do the SWF in the morning)???

    Thanks in advance
    E

You had the SWF at NIGHT? no wonder you had bloating. I find that if you have fruit or veg juices or smoothies a few days before or even the week before helps me a lot. Smooth move lax tea at night works best and the SWF in the morning...sort of related to washing the clothes ( at night ) and rinsing them ( in the morning ). If you mix the SWF to the correct ratio you wont get any absorption so dont worry about that.........and ........Good luck ...all the best.

Sorry Peter I don´t know how to use the forum very well but I want to know by this way.
Why you could not to take the salt water flush at night like 12 PM or 1 PM, maybe 4 or 6 hours after tea.
At night you are in home and you are more comfortable to eliminate and nauseas.
In the morning you must go to job and is more difficult to go with nauseas and diarrea.
    Thanks a lot.

    hello everyone,

im sorry if this question has been asked before, but after the cleanse, how often can one do the saltwater flush?

i just got off a 14 day cleanse and i found the SWF really helpful considering i usually get backed up very easily. is it still possible to continue this a few times a week?

    thank you!

    Evrae,

I'm not sure there's much real guidance on this issue, but I personally think that "a few times a week" would be too often. Many nutrients are actually absorbed from your intestines, and they aren't meant to be totally empty most of the time. "Every once in a while" might be a better time frame. A couple of times a month? Who knows?

If your elimination is sluggish, it's most likely because you're dehydrated, and that's where I'd suggest you focus, rather than trying to artificially and perhaps prematurely push your solid waste out with the SWF. I personally use (and promote--check out my second signature line below) ionized alkalized water as the best way to stay fully hydrated.

But even if you don't do that, then focus on simply drinking a lot more water during your day, as well as eating juicy organic fruits and veggies.

    HTH!

The SWF needs to be done on a totally empty stomach. This concentration of salt and water passes directly through the body and is not taken up into the blood stream or the kidneys. If you have anything in your system you could mess that up and suffer bad consequences.

It's really best to stick with the plan as it's written. If you can't hack the SWF in the morning, just do lax tea morning and evening instead.

    Happy cleansing!

The first is lukewarm to warm up until the water not boiled fully, then add lemon juice and lemon two or sea salt, mixed teaspoon, to improve the taste. Drink it in one sitting, every sunrise, every day for a week. At the beginning of a new treatment program, taking a new herb / vitamin, fasting or changes in diet, you need to build out your body toxins and schlock.

I have never heard anything about adding lemon to the saltwater and am under the impression that this would be an error.
