    Hi all,

    Wednesday night I didn't take the tea because it was causing cramps in the morning around 4am, no problem I'll just get the SWF down and continue on right? Well, the next morning I got an early morning call to substitute teach at the high school. Well no way was I going to run to the restroom for the SWF results. I had my morning lemonade, then packed up with 2 pints of water, 1 double MC drink, a little pack of cayenne and a straw and off I went. The day went rather well but when I got home I again skipped the tea. This morning was a SWF with darker results than the daily flush, hope holding those toxins in didn't hurt too much. I figure that at least they are getting flushed (even one day late) rather than carrying them around during a typical American Diet day. I'm over the hump, yeah, but this year I'd like to continue until I lose 15 pounds, wish me luck.

    Out of curiosity, what is the average transit time for the SWF? For me it takes 50-75 minutes to make it way down the intestines until it's knocking on the back door. I didn't time any of the SWF transit times last Cleanse, this time I am because I want to see if the SWF transit time gets shorter the cleaner it is in there. Any thoughts?

    Well as I said before, I went to work yesterday and had plenty of energy to do it so I'm on day 6 now, going for 10 days. So is there a problem with doing the SWF in the am and pm?

    I read on the forum somewhere that if you SWF at night, you get rid of the lemon/cayenne mix that works in the intestines overnight. The tea apparently doesn't flush it all out, just loosens things up for the morning flush to do its duty (no pun intended).

    Thanks, thats good to know. The tea just makes me cramp so bad, I can't handle it. Maybe I'll try again... Does anybody know if it is an issue taking birth control pills while on the cleanse? Does it affect the cleanse too much, and does the cleanse affect the potency of the pills???

    How long are you steeping it? Try steeping it less. I can't handle the tea at all. I do it every other day or every 2 days and only steep it for 1 minute and :30 seconds without squeezing the bag. The SWF still works without the tea. Doing the SWF morning and night is pointless.. Just skip the tea if you have to.

    As long as you're taking the birth control sometime after the SWF, I don't see how it would effect the potency.

    I've noticed that too. I'm on day 16 and skipped the SWF a couple times. I've had no bad side effects from it like headaches or anything..

    Yeah, that's the average time. Best to play it safe and give it 2 hours. 1 hour to work it's way down and another hour to fully come out. Weird how that is. You can down it in 0-2 minutes and you would think it would come out just as fast. lol Good luck losing 15lbs. Easy goal.

    Just wondering if their is a difference between the brands and/or types of sea salt?

    Yep there's definitely a difference between brands. Go back to what was working before or keep messing around with the measurements with the new one. If you're using like Celtic which is bigger grains of salt, you'll need more.

    No. Liquid in->Liquid out.

Her reasoning was that I am already in the low-normal weight range and that this diet would put me below a healthy weight. I am 5'3" 110 lbs. Any thoughts or experience regarding this? Thanks!
    Did you read any of the MC books? The one by Stanley says that if you don't need to lose weight than simply use more maple syrup. Everyone that's losing weight is only drinking like 600-1000 calories a day after being on diets that were probably 2,000 calories. In your case, just drink MORE than 6 glasses of lemonade a day and use more than 2tbsp of maple syrup to keep your calories up. Try 3tbsp per glass.. any more than that per glass will probably taste gross.

    If you're doing that, the only weight you are going to lose is water and crap. The average person has a couple pounds of toxic feces rotting in their colon.

    Sorry, but that's incorrect. The SWF should be done first thing in the morning, whenever that is for you, before you've had any water or lemonade. It should not be done at the end of the day.

    If you can't do it in the morning for some reason, then you can do the tea instead. However, the SWF should not be substituted for the tea at night.
