I still had a lot come out in bowel movements, though, so I was wondering if all 4 cups are necessary? I was also thinking about trading off days between doing the lax tea in the morning and the SWF, has anyone done this? I wish I wasn't a wimp with this lol, I never considered myself to have a weak stomach, but apparentally I do.
Yes to all of the above, basically.

It's better to get most of it than none of it, so I'd suggest you keep trying. Also, for some people it does get easier. And some days are easier than others, too. So don't give up just because you weren't perfect the first time!

However, all that said, it is fine to alternate mornings, doing the SWF one and the lax tea the next and so on.

It's also okay to simply do the tea in the mornings--but you lose a lot of cleansing possibilities by skipping the SWF, and sometimes the tea is just as bad in its own way (cramps, effects lasting long into the day so you can't predict, etc.). So as I said, even if you do skip the SWF one day I'd keep revisiting it to see if eventually you could be able to do it every morning.

Hi! I'm new to the site and on day 3 of my 1st MC. What I discovered on day 2 was I started adding a few drops of the MS to my 30oz and it has helped my drink the SW better. Is it o.k for me to add the few drops of MS or should I stop? My eliminations have been normal and there's plenty of butt pee

Sorry: that should read 32oz and not 30oz : )
Oh and mixing the water and salt and letting it sit overnight so that the salt dissolves first, that makes a HUGE difference! Today's SWF was so much eaiser. I had it all down in 10 mins!!!

I'm new to MC and will be starting the cleanse tomorrow, but I'm not sure about the exact steps. In the book, it says to take the herbal laxative tea last thing at night and first thing in the morning. I understand to take the laxative tea before bed, but do I take another laxative tea in the morning and take the salt water?

After the first day, do I just take the laxative at night and then drink the salt water in the morning?

No. You take the laxative tea at night.

Then in the morning you do the SWF, first thing, on an empty stomach. If you can't do the SWF for some reason, then you do the tea again in the morning. But not both.

    Happy cleansing!

    hi,
I'm on day 2. Doing okay but haven't done the SWF yet. I'm doing the lax tea night and morning.
Question: Does it matter how much of the lemon mix I drank each day? I find I love that stuff as its helps curb my hunger for solid foods.

    Thanks.

Don't worry about the SWF. After reading everyone's posts on the difficulties of it, I was afraid to do it my first day, too. But I tried it on the second day and it was great. It was like warm soup, only I got to drink it quickly (in five minutes. I liked it so much I would keep it in my mouth sometimes.) Don't read the puke stories and let those disturb you. Try it yourself with a positive attitude. You might like it, too.

I think the book says you can have 6-12 lemonade drinks at 12 oz each. Whenever I got hungry (only 2 days) I took another drink, and I was fine.

I just finished and am on day 11 breaking the fast. This is an easy cleanse, so don't dread it. It goes by quickly.

I have just started doing the MC and I found it difficult to take all of the salt water flush. I could drink about half. Since I didn't finish the flush I'm going to drink the tea.

Question: Should I try and drink about half (if not more - depends on if I'll be able to stand it )of the salt water flush every morning and then also drink the tea?

    Crystal,

    No, don't do both.

If drinking only half of the SWF is all you can do, then stop there. However, try again the next day and you may be able to do better.

If you decide you don't want to do it at all, take the tea instead. But don't do both on the same morning.

    Querie:

I use a 2 litre bottle, precisely two teaspoons of salt, drink it all (though in about half an hour) and nothing happens. I don't go to the toilet at all and wonder what that 2 litres of water does in my body cause that's where it stays. I feel off-centre when I do it, too, and my head feels fuzzy. This is the third time I've done it. Any answers?
