Please define "after the SWF." Do you mean, you drink a glass of water immediately after finishing drinking the salt water, or do you mean drinking a glass of water after you've finished flushing? (so to speak)

    Thanks!

I'm new to this site so forgive me if this question has already been addressed.

I'm now into my sixth day of my first ever cleanse and I've got nothing but positive things to say about it. I would like to increase my movements however and will be going with the salt water flush tomorrow, so far I passed one full load and two small ones from using the herb laxative tea. My question has to do with something I was told by a GNC salesperson, he suggested that fish oil helps for a smoother pass. Has anyone tried this or is it inadvisable?

laura: please read the "general thread for newbies". the SWF is the salt water flush: quart of water + 2 teaspoons of salt.

Yes, thanks, I know this, it's my second MC.

My question is: do you drink an additional glass of plain water immediately after *drinking* the SWF, or do you wait two hours until after you're finished the wash? I always thought that you weren't allowed to drink any water until you were completely finished with the wash; now I read here that someone's drinking water "right after the SWF" and it's ambiguous to say the least.

New subject: I'm actually having more trouble with the SWF this time than the first time I did the MC last year. I only got half of it down yesterday and today. Will go for the full quart tomorrow.

Default Re: Salt water flush- WHAT AM I DOING WRONG_ HELP- ANYBODY

I have read the book and I am pretty much sticking to the rules. I am using celtic sea salt (fine ground).
I am on day 5 and I do the morning SWF and the evening smooth move tea.

I am concerned because i was a heavy meat & dairy eater before the cleanse and I have had no significant bowel movement. Ocasionally I experience the "butt-pee" I hear so much about in the blogs.

After the first day- with no significant BM I increased the 2 teaspoons to 2 1/2 teaspoons.

Any thing more I could do? Should I add smooth move to my morning routine of SWF???

hey mr777 - if you're having butt pee you're having movments and that might be all for a little bit. it takes a while for the old stuff to get off.
don't do the tea and the swf in the mornings. just one or the other.
make sure you're doing the tea at night and if you'd prefer more solid movements have tea in the morning instead of the swf but the swf is better.
check out the newbies thread for more info on what to expect with eliminations etc.
