I'm having the same problem as "SuPrA" posted March 25th. My BMs are occuring 30-60 minutes after the SWF and are also only what looks like yellow water (Peeing out of my butt as SuPrA put it ). What should I do differently in order to eliminate something? I'm doing everything the book suggests. HELP!

This is the start of Day 5 for me. I've been following all the directions, but it seems that with each additional day that I am on the cleanse, the SWF takes longer to go completely through me. Today and yesterday, it seemed like it did not go completely through (still having BM's, but less of them than the first 3 days) Is this common? Has it happened to anyone else? Should I be increasing the salinity to keep the SWF moving through at the same rate to make sure I get everything out? I'm drinking a Senna Leaf Tea (100% Senna) in the evenings, but that doesn't seem to be having an effect of "running through me" as others have described, so I've stuck with the SWF in the mornings instead of tea in evenings and mornings.

Hi guys. I'm on day 15.

The temperature of the salt water doesn't matter. I like it a little warm. My boyfriend likes it cold. Same thing with the lemon-aide. It is the ingredients that matter.

I wanted to say that I definitely would not recommend drinking psyllium while on the MC. I also would not recommend taking any other laxatives, nor would I recommend skipping the morning tea or salt-water. I would not recommend using iodized salt.

The instructions per Stanley Burroughs work as they are. Changing anything about it is not the Master Cleanse. You may see results, but the exact directions as written are tried and true, and bring the best results. I know Peter feels strongly about this, because it works.

Regarding the taste of the salt water - the first three days I didnt think I would keep it down. I started drinking it warm and pretending it was soup, which helped. Now I'm completely used to it, and it isn't a problem to get it down. I prefer the salt water to the tea, as the salt water goes through in an hour or so, and then I can get on with my day. The tea works more slowly, and has me in the bathroom throughout the day.

    There's my 2 cents!

    Carmelized,

I found that after the first 3-5 days, there was less coming out from the salt water flush. This makes sense, as most of the solid matter in your intestines passes out in those first three days, and you are not putting more food into you. I wouldn't change it or give up on it. There are still toxins flushing out, and you may be surprised at what you see a few days later.

As of Day 15, I am still seeing quite a lot of broken up mucous flushing out, and still feel better every morning after my flush.

    Hello

I am about to start the MC when my maple syrup arrives, I live in Sth Korea and can only get A grade so I'm ordering it over the internet... ???

Before I start I have one concern regarding the SWF. I live in a humid climate and have traditionally gotten edema (water retention from salty food) during summer (probably also because of the toxins I have in my body), which it is now. Will the salt water flush affect this or because it is non-iodized will that make a difference? :-/

    Thanks in advance ;D

I was lucky enough to peruse this forum before diving in, so I had read everyone's personal comments concerning the SWF. I used the trick of thinking of a salty broth/soup when chugging the very warm saltwater...psychologically, this worked well! I have always craved salty things rather than sugary ones, so maybe this is why I can tolerate it so well.

In fact, this is also probably why I am keeping the maple syrup to 1 Tbsp. per lemon drink. I am also heavy-handed with the cayenne.

I have to say that if nothing else, this MC really, really helps to develop your patience. Today, I just have this overwhelming urge to hit the fast-forward button and see the results! As for weight loss...maybe a few lbs., but I suspect it's all water. Only time will tell, eh.

    good morning
today is day three for me (yyyeaahh) and I am feeling much better than yesterday, except for this morning.
i did the SWF this morning for the first time and it was horrible!
I gagged and gagged and didn't even finish it all. but it did work almost immediately for me.

I couldn't find the light grey celtic sea salt that burroughs and peter recommend, and i am guessing that might be adding to the discomfort. I callled a health food store and they have it ;D, so i will pick some up today. i hope that makes it much better, i can't even imagine going through the same thing tommorow.
the SWF did make me feel much better this morning, which is a good thing and makes it a little more worth it.

    good luck to all

    stay blessed

    Good morning everyone

    day 4 for me .
I did the SWF this morning, again, but it wasn't that bad. I used the light grey sea salt recommeneded and it made a huge difference. i didn't even bother making the whole liter of SW, I left out about 4-6 oz.

it worked immeidately, and i went more than yesterday. one thing though, I felt bloated and uncomfortably full up until this morning when I got to work.
I am drinking much more water with the MC, i hope this helps.

    good luck to everyone

    peace and blessings

    ? Question...SWF ?
I have not taken the salt water flush at all and keep reading about it and now I am getting worried that maybe I should get it.
Is it harmful if I do not get it?
Hate to be gross here but I am not really going to the bathroom (#2) except once in the morning everyday. I do take a fiber (psyllium) with the MC once in the morning and once at night so that is why I was not worried about the SWF. If I am taking fiber and going once a day should I be going to the bathroom more?
    Please can anyone answer this?
    Thank you,
    Cara
