Thread: Salt water flush

    Ok so I am new here, I sent my question as a PM to Peter but I am sure he is very busy so I am asking all of you. I looked for the answer but I didn't see it. I have to be at work at 7:30am. I am not a morning person and would not be able to get up an hour early just to be sure I am near a toilet after the SWF. Is there a good way to change the schedule so that I can do the SWF when I get home and can stay by the bathroom if needed?

    Thank you all.

    hi faeriegigi........ the reason to do the SWF in the am is to flush out the toxins the tea you drank the night before helped stir up. If you do it later in the day, you will flush out all the nutrients you took in during the day of drinking the lemonade. Some in here, drink the tea in the morning instead of the SWF and just go during the day at work. I am not a morning person either, but I figured for 10 days I could do this to help my body clear all the junk I helped create! My flush was done by a 1/2 hour later. All are different. The best to you on the MC!

    [QUOTE=jenfala]to swf or not to...that's my question/QUOTE]

    your bms will be watery on the cleanse. that's normal.
    but if you don't want to do the swf just drink tea in the morning instead.

    hey, either wake up 2 hours earlier or just drink the tea instead and reserve the swf for the weekends where you can wake up later. always take the swf first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

    hey everyone!

    During my first MC I id not have much luck with the SWF. I felt my eliminations were not as grat as I did the lax tea in the morning. THus i stuck it out with the lax tea twice daily. I did the SWF this second time aroudn and found that still my eliminations are so slow. I've been using the celtic gray sea salt and using 2 teaspoons in 32 oz of water. I find the celtic sea salt to have a fluffy texture. THus maybe am i measuring the teaspoons inaccurately? I sccop the salt and then press it down to level it out so i try to make sure I have an accurate measurement. Is that the best way to have the best result? Cause I recall in the book Buroughs said to have level teaspoons.

    sure. when you don't do the salt water, make sure you do tea in the morning. if you don't want to do the swf at all, just do a glass of lax tea in the morning. Burroughs suggests this in his book for those who can't handle the salt water flush.

    babe -

    Thanks for the info, one question, you say that it is done in about 1/2 hour...had it ever taken longer or happen again later? I am not close to a bathroon in my office that can be used for such an occasion.

    Thanks for your help.

    hi Gigi...... I am finding that everyones body eliminates differently, so I can only go with what my experience has been. For me, it's about 1/2 hour, but the book says about an hour, so you have to see how your own body handles it, and somedays it's even different! Good luck and the best on the cleanse!
