HELLO LEMONHEADS!

It is time for SPRING CLEANING!
Yes, I am going for 40 days and I am on Day 9 today. I have gone 42, 30 , 20 and 10 days on the MC. I am looking for company from anyone who would like to go long-term, whether 15, 20, 30, 40 or more. We will have loads of fun and share support and stories. My first MC was for 42 days, so I know from personal experience you do not have to have done it before. You just have to have the will and heart to do it.

Anyone interested???

Wow, 40 days. Impressive. I just finished up my very first 10-day MC yesterday, so I'm drinking oj today. It was a big enough stretch for me to do 10 days, esp being the full time mom of two school age kids, doing meal prep, fixing snacks for them...you get the picture.

So, thank you kindly for your offer, but I think I'll pass this time. I wish you all the best, though. Good on ya, Kira Moon! Thumbsup.

BTW, I was curious about a post I noticed you made on another thread, regarding the symptom of being cold, specifically for O type blood. That's my blood type and I definitely had issues with being cold during the cleanse, it was amazing how chilly I was all the time. Every night I was sleeping with a hot water bottle, which really helped. Do you happen to know why people with type O blood have that as a symptom? I'm interested to hear more about this...

Hi there,
This is my first MC< and I am currently on Day 3. I had planned on going for the whole month of may, which is 31 days, but I figured hey, If I can make it 31, I may as well do the whole 40.
That will have me off the MC in time for a business trip late june.

Im doing ok so far, I got a little hungry this afternoon, but just took my P&B shake and got over it.
The lemonade is hard for me to drink but I chug it down to make sure I drink it.

Im looking forward to having soem company on this long haul.

I'm on day 12 of 30 of my first MC. I'd probably stay on longer, but I need to get back to eating solid foods by June 4. I'm thinking of doing another cleanse sometime in July, but I think just a short 10 day one for maintenance.

I'm on day 6 of the MC. I am having a hard time today. I feel tired. I want to do 40 days, but at this point...I'm having a hard time imagining it. Does it get easier after day 10?

i just had to stop in and tell you how you've inspired me, you & Res both. Probably, i can't do the longterm cleanse wth you but i can run along side / chewing on a carrot and cheering you on!

Today is actually MC5 Day 3 for me . . . unplanned, i just felt like it was time for a "maintenance" break from food. i did MC 4 for 30 days in March and ate (non-stop it seems like) in April and then, abruptly, just got tired of eating!

i feel good (a little sleepy and tired tonight, at 8 pm).

i wish i cld join you for at least 15 days, but i gotta leave this one openended, for now. (Had only thought of a one day break though . . .)

Soooooo, "Go Kira! Go Kira! Go Kira!" . . . and anyone else who's joining her too!

HA!. That'll teach me... I should have read the boards before posting, but I was desperate for help so I posted looking for support for 12+ day folks.

And here you are!!!! 42 DAYS!! AWESOME. Care to share the full story? Here's what I posted on the thread somewhere above and I'll be happy to join you, Kira. I LOVE your name... Kira Moon, by the way. I'm on Day 14 so a tad ahead but it's just semantics...hee hee.

Day 14 here (Yea, Me!! can hardly believe it) and I feel fabulous. Have lost oodles of lbs (haven't stood on the scale at all but clothes DO tell and I started when I went to the store and a size 18 wouldn't fit!! REFUSED to buy a size 20 and put on a size 16 skit today).... and haven't had to use my asthma inhaler at all in the last week. (I was using it three times a day!!). My broken hip pain feels soooo much less than it used to and I'm back to hour walks without pain. Haven't been hungry at all. I've had some wonderful triumps along the way. So..overall... Great Success as far as I'm concerned.

However, I planned to go 40 days but I'm waaaaaaaaaay bored now. And this nasty tongue coating is getting just a tad lame. Dreaming of food lately too.... healthy food, but food nevertheless. I KNOW I will perservere and continue to my goal of the 40 days....with your help

So, please please share your stories of how you got this far and beyond... it can be a short one... and how your health has improved and how much you've lost on the extended fast. It will be much appreciated.

Particularly interested in how you overcame the "boredom" day in and day out of that drink ...which, by the way... I DO like.

Thanks you all for the support. I am on day 18 of my second MC lost 8kg so far and was just wondering how long I will go this time. I did 15 days in Febr and lost 7 kg that I had kept off. I had plan to do at least 20 days this time and from there just on a day to day. But the way I feel I thought I can stay on the MC for ever .... I am not hungry. But I still have a lot of Kilos (another 25) to loose and was wondering how healthy this really is .... I have this feeling of something in my chest sort off something to swallow down. Anyone with the same feeling? Apart from that I really feel good.
