I'm on day 6 of my first MC (I tried starting a few times in the past), and I really want to keep it together til I cross the finish line (min day 10, maybe go to 14). I've done everything by the book so far (with the exception of licking my maple syrup spoon occasionally after swirling it in my lemonade and about three sips of watered down coffee a couple days back) and have had some ups and downs (yesterday I was starving all day!). I've lost 11 lbs (!!!!) - went from 200 to 189 this morning.
I can't believe how much I miss food, but other than that I feel really good about getting this far. I had to go grocery shopping today for more supplies, and I just needed to get out of there fast!!
I think it would be good to include a little exercise which I haven't been able to so far. A couple of walks at least. I usually get cardio 3-5 times a week.
So - if you're out there - write back!
p.s. I chose my handle - Superlceanser- to psyche myself up - I had no idea if I could do it or not!
