In the book Burroughs says to stop the SWF/lax tea if there is diarrhea (although rare).
I know if I weren't fasting, this ALL could be diarrhea? What is *fasting diarrhea*? Can anyone help? Thank you!
And when you say mucous, what exctly does that mean? When it comes out does it feel like mucous in your nose? Because I don't have that, but it's not exactly solid either.
I'm on Day 4. Thank you!

I don't know what Burroughs means by diarrhea, but I can tell you my experience with the MC. I recently did a 10 day MC and every morning when I awoke (after taking the tea the night before) to quote Burroughs 'several eliminations occurred.' They weren't solid because I wasn't eating anything. I think the morning eliminations that resemble diarrhea are good and are the result of the flushing out of compacted fecal matter from the colon. I wouldn't be worried because it sounds like things are going fine for you so far.
As for the mucus, I noticed that mostly after I had drank the salt water. It's pretty easy to notice it because it has an almost bright orange color. I also noticed I had a bit of a congested nose for the first 5 or 6 days of the cleanse. I'm doing it again starting Feb. 13 so it will be interesting to see if my experience this time is the same as last time.
Good luck and hope this was helpful in some way!

yeah, I wouldnt be worried. I think its all part of the process. I am on day 8 and dont enjoy the runny eliminations but I think the salt water helps dissolve stuff it went into your body years ago. Tough it out and feel fresher when your all done.
