Can I smoke while on the cleanse? It would be brutal to try to quit smoking and cleanse at the same time.

Hi Garmon,
My partner quit smoking when he did his first cleanse. He had smoked for 12 years (about 1/2 a pack to a pack a day). He found it MUCH easier to quit, as you're going through so many withdrawal symptoms (esp. if you are a SAD (standard american diet) eater - ie red meat, dairy, etc). He said that the order of his cravings was as follows:
1. Coffee
2. Food
3. Cigarettes
By the end of the 10 days, he was SOOOO happy to be able to enjoy food and coffee again, and had absolutely NO cravings for cigarettes any more. That was 4 months ago.
Good luck!
:)

I found that while I was cleansing I had NO craving for cigarettes. The only reason I did not stop smoking is because my room mate would lite up and so would I... I did not even want a cigarette... so tell him not to stop smoking, but as the craving goes away.. then stop... it will be very easy...

I also lost my craving for coffee in the morning... amazing.. and since I have not drank and coffee nor any milk... I used to love milk... then I found out just how bad it really is for us...

We are lied to on a daily basis by people that want the almighty dollar... such a shame..

Best of luck to you on doing the cleanse... take it one day at a time....
