I started the Master Cleanse this spring out of desperation over my allergies. My eyes, particularly, have been in horrible shape. For the past two weeks I've been waking up with the lids stuck close, and my eyes are red and swollen throughout the day.
My asthma has been bad for the past six months as well. Normally, my asthma has only bothered me for a few weeks a year during my adult life, (though it was very bad in childhood).
I'm on day three of my Master Cleanse, and so far the allergies aren't much better, and the asthma, if anything is worse. I HAVE to use my albuterol inhaler several times a day, and I usually have to wake up twice a night to use it. And I'm trying not to use it at all on this fast, so I'm waiting until I really need it.
Has anyone else had their asthma get worse at the beginning of the Master Cleanse? And has anyone eliminated severe allergies with the Master Cleanse? My body seems to adapt to natural and prescription allergy remedies quickly. I've basically run out of options in treating my allergies, and I am hoping the Master Cleanse will do the trick. (My liver must be chock-full of medications by this point in my life).
