antibiotics and cleanse

planned on starting my cleanse tomorrow, but just today was given a prescription for antibiotics due to a nast infection under one of my fingernails...
is it okay to take the meds while on the cleanse?
or best to finish them before I start the cleanse?

(and what about other medication? eg: synthroid?)
