Hi,

I am new, please forgive me if this topic has been discussed before, if there were a search option, i would look for the topic.

I did the Master Cleanse last summer for 7 days. i was pretty much going crazy by that time, and my tongue wasn't coated anymore, so i decided to end it early. it was quite an experience, and i would like to do it at least once a year, if not twice.

my family was pretty concerned for my health, and my mom was a nutritionist.. one of the questions she asked me were about Stanley Burroughs' credentials. i did a google search at the time and found absolutely nothing about the man. i was hoping someone here could shed some light on what kind of education he has, and what research he has done to back up the Master Cleanse.

Can anyone help? Again, i apologize if this has been discussed, if so, could you please direct me to the thread?

I am thinking that this will have to be answered by Peter. I too cannot find anything about his educational background...

I work with General Surgeons and in a Breast Care Clinic as well... we do colonoscopes on a regular basis and other procedures. I have talked with the surgeons as well as the nurses, at length about this program... all agree that it can be a good way to clean the colon... non asked about Stanley's credentials...

I will be watching this strand to see what responses you get...
