Hi, thanks for starting this thread. I just started the MC this morning and it is a rough start. I’ve been preparing for about a week, but yesterday I became very ill. It seems like the flu or a fever of some kind. I decided to go ahead and start the MC anyway, but right now I am really suffering. I am obsessive about following the MC verbatim, but I am fevering and shivering at my desk right now. Does anyone have any information regarding the use of Ibuprofen or other over the counter pain medications while on the MC?

I’ve been holding off, but I think I need something to break the fever. Please get back to me as soon as you can with any information.

Additionally, I look forward to getting to know you all and tracking our progress together.

Thanks a lot.

Welcome Dante...

sorry I did not find this sooner as this is now Wednesday, hope you are feeling better..

I have found that taking any OTC medication does not help and infact can throw your body/metabolism, off. When you do the MC you are getting rid of everything that is toxic... and believe it or not Ibuprofen is toxic to our bodies.

Our bodies know how to heal themselves and they need to go through a process to eliminate what is invading. I much rather let my body take the course it needs to take to heal what is ailing.

I have taken Ibuprofen for the massive headaches that I had doing the cleanse, and I am not one to take anything, it did nothing to help it... so I don't take it anylonger.

Best of luck to you on your journey!! :)
