im trying to get a little more technical with the swf.

the burroughs book says that the swf should be equal to specific gravity of blood which is 1.0506 @ 37c (body temp)

i used an aquarium hydrometer im my swf and reading wasnt close to 1.0506
im trying to get my hands on another hygrometer to test again.

seeking help from lab techs, any one with acess to hydrometer, refractometer to test a solution with 2 tsp of salt in water. (non iodized)

also weight of salt would help and temperature of solution.

it would be a much more accurate soulution if we weighed our salt vs. measuring utilizing volume (tsp)

with this soultion issue another variable would be the purity of the salt.

my hypothesis is that problems with the swf not working are related to improper salt solution.

i also have a sneaking suspicion that the swf is not equal to specfic gravity of blood.
