my advice as a mom lol (no medical training) don't stop taking any medication that is prescribed by your dr unless you talk to him first!

My advice is --- (and you may not like this) - don't take any medication that is prescribed by your doctor.
A nutritionalist named Peter Gillham says that all medications are drugs and all drugs are poison to your body.
Also realize that there will be a day when drugs are a thing of the past. The trend has already started. Many people are catching on.
So if your like me -- one who will not ingest drugs -- your'e already ahead of the curve.

WOW dont stop taking any medications prescribed to you by a dr many medications you must be weaned off so things like heart stopping and other bad things dont happen!

On page 112 of Peter's book, he emphatically states (in bold):
"If you are on a prescribed medication, especially such as that to avoid a heart attack, stroke or other fatal event, do NOT discontinue your medicine without consulting the prescribing licensed health care practitioner."
Now perhaps Peter has to say this so as to avoid litigation, but, even so, it's best to check with your doctor. Of course, your doctor may advise you that you should not do this cleanse, but feel free to ignore that as he's probably a traditionalist trained only in drugs...;)
The cleanse will help you get healthy and make better choices about what you put into your body. Down the line, you may get yourself into such a healthy state that you may no longer need the medication, but, until then, check with your doctor! ::)
You should, however, stop taking any non-essential medication, like diet or sleeping pills, because all of these things are toxins to your body. :P
