Great app.. it is sure helping me keep track of everything on a daily basis. I am only on day 3 but doing great, feeling better already!
THanks,
Angie
Please post any questions about the cleanse itself on the Master Cleanse Board. This topic is just for the app.
Thanks,

I don't have an Iphone. I have, I guess you'd call it a Smart Phone, basically like a Blackberry. It surfs the web, etc but it is not an IPhone. Is this app only for the Iphone?
There are now 3 versions of this popular app:
for iPhones, iPads and iPods (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/master-cleanse-coach/id379645902?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo=4)
for Android phones (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mc.coach)
for everyone on the Web (http://mastercleansecoach.com/web-app/)

Sorry Peter. Don't have an iPhone and don't plan on getting one. I use BlackBerry. It'll be great when you come out with an app for different phones! It sounds like the people who have it are really liking it. I just come here:) I work from home unless I'm traveling for work which is every other weekend so this site is easy for me to get to. Thanks for everything. OH the sites I've been on. You've probably been on them too. The amount of misinformation is appalling. I really do get frightened that people on those sites are going to hurt themselves. I could elaborate but I'm sure you've seen them. One in particular carries the namesake and the poor people who post on that site get no real help, wrong ingredients for SWF, adding things... for a while I was helping people out and they were so desperate I'd get 20 replies to one small piece of TRUE information about this cleanse. This is my 4th cleanse and I am so grateful I bought YOUR book, researched the RIGHT information and found this site when I did my first MC. Invaluable.:D

Great App. Easy to follow and use. The headings are great
"Getting Started"
"Ask the MC Coach"
Very useful addition to the cleanse.
Keep the good info coming

I am using the app. First off, I believe it is pretty user friendly and easy to intuitively navigate. Yay!
My main suggestion would be that I would love for the app to open on the journal screen with obvious buttons at the top, maybe two. One for "START HERE" and one for "JOURNAL SETUP" or something like that.
This way a new user would arrive at a journal page and click the start here button that would take them to the page that is NOW the opening screen of the app. Presto, all the information they need.
Now as the user returns to the app for daily tracking, lemonade updates, etc. the first thing they see is the journal screen for the day they are in.
I would also love to have a way to take a photo day by day for tracking tounge progress, instead of just the photo at the beginning / end of the clease.
Once a person has completed multiple cleanses it would be cool if they could go to a screen that showed a comparison graph of this cleanse vs another one (user could select which one). Each graph would show the weight / happiness (two data lines on the graph) and the different graph would be displayed side by side on the same screen.
That last idea is a totall fluff idea that is more for fun. I feel that my other suggestions would add a lot to the user experience.

The app is not retaining data. I am highly disappointed. I am currently on day 5 of my first cleanse and I have been using the app to monitor my progress. I opened the app a moment ago to update how many lemonades I have had so far today and discovered that my data for days 2, 3, and 4 are gone. In addition to this, my comments have been altered. They appear to be in a foreign language.
Initially I was excited to learn that there was an app for the cleanse and I have been diligently using it every step of the way. Now... my data is gone! GONE! I am not pleased! And DO NOT tell me that my irritability over this issue is nothing more than a detox symptom! I would like this issue resolved.
Sorry Marla. I was disappointed about that bug, too. It took a few months and two tries to handled it, but we fixed it in version 1.2 in May 2012.

I just added the app to my iPhone. I also added it to my iPad as I believe I will use it on that device more than the phone. I plan on entering comments into the journal and I have a much easier time typing on the iPad. I like what I've seen so far.
My first impression is that I really like the 'Ask the Coach' section. And I think I'll love the journal. It really helps to reference the experience I had on an earlier cleanse and the journal will be great for that purpose later.
After typing for a bit I started to wish there was a version designed for the iPad instead of just magnifying the iPhone version. Or is there one out there that I just missed?
Thanks!

I started my cleanse and journaling on Jan 10 and was loving the charts, notes, tracking inches, etc. Seeing my progress was great for encouraging me to continue on days when I was considering not.
All was good until, yesterday, day 10. I was doing my morning review of my progress, went through the days once, was able to see my data, went through the charts, no problem. Then when backing up through the charts, the data was significantly reduced to three days of data. I went through the Journal and found it was true there also. Days 2, 3, and 4 were still in tact but most others were blank with a few that replaced the notes with Lorem Ipsum (which is gone now as well). Now all that is left is the data from days 2,3, and 4. Days 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and what I had entered for 10 that morning, are blank.
Seems like the same issue Marla was having.
Happily, we fixed the data loss bug as well as improved the forum display and added a "How to use this app" page at the beginning in version 1.2 released in iTunes in May 2012. (It took a few months and two tries to finally get it.)

For the most part, I really found the app to be a great tracking and motivational tool. I am much more likely to punch data into my phone as opposed to pulling out a sheet of paper. I like the instant access to information, especially Ask the MC Coach. The website was hard to read on the app. Just the same as if I went to the site in my phone web browser. Probably fine on an iPad.
I hope this input helps in getting the issue fixed before I do my next MC. Once this is resolved, I have no problem giving it an iTunes five star review.
Made it the whole 10 days! Hoo-Rah!!!

I just got the 1.1 version app the other day. I read several reviews on the app store that data was randomly being deleted and hoped it wouldn't happen to me, but it did. Several times. :(
Sorry. It took us a few months and two tries to handle it, but we fixed it in version 1.2 released in iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/master-cleanse-coach/id379645902?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo=4) in May 2012.

Hi Peter,
I am new to the community and so excited to have found this website. I have two questions:
1) If I get this app on my iPad, will I also be able to see evrything I enter on my iPad when using it on my Android and vice versa?
2) And from what I'm understanding, the Android app isn't up yet, correct? I've been searching and although I see a lot of detox/master cleanse apps, I don't think I'm finding yours.

Sorry the app doesn't automatically share data among iPad and Android, but you might be able to do it manually by emailing it to each one. That hasn't been tested.
It is now available in Google Play (used to be Android Market) (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mc.coach):)

Debating doing the cleanse and bought the MC Coach app last night. I don't see any buttons on the bottom to start a graph or take a photo or anything. All I see when I open the app is the following list:
MC Coach
Getting Started
Ask the MC Coach
My Bookmarks
Journals
Books & Supplies
The Website
MC Community
*These are all green clickable buttons on a lemon background.

You have to click on Journals to input data. While there, you can add photos, info, see graphs, etc. Click on Getting Started > How to Use This App for full instructions.

After months of work, the immensely popular Master Cleanse Coach iPhone App was released for Android phones 21 Feb 2012 and for the Web on 19 May 2012! The iPhone App has sold more than 5,000 copies in 50 countries and now I’m extending my ability to answer people’s questions by bringing the Master Cleanse [...]
