I want him to go raw too, but I don't know what he'll eat. He's three. He can't easily digest lettuces yet, so salad is out. I know on the FAQs it says RAW desserts are popular with kids. Does anyone have recipes? I'll check some other sites with recipes, too. But I don't want to just feed him dessert all the time- anything else I can make?

Adinah:

Really do your homework before having your 3 year old go all raw. I'm just saying this because I really care. I'm not one of those whose all raw. I've researched this ad nauseum and know it's not for me.

Search the Lemonhead Recipe Box (http://therawfoodsite.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101&page=34) for healthy recipes and also do a Google search for "Raw food recipes for children". :)

I hope this helps.

it's actually not that hard at all.
the produce section of your supermarket it full! plus the farmer's market is over flowing so that must mean there are tonnes of options of things to eat. just open your mind and look.
fruits are always an option
there are smoothies as well
other veggies besides lettuce - avocados, tomatoes, cucumber, zuccinni, broccoli, carrots - and the list goes on and on
soaked raw nuts
dried fruit
spouts
sprouted beans

grab a raw food cookbook or do a google search for raw food recipes and you'll find tonnes of stuff you and your child would like.

there are many books out their on going raw with kids. do a google search and check out amazon books.
