I am on day 6 now. I really wanted to take it to day 10 but I am losing my drive to go on. I started getting a cold and sore throat early on and have been miserable since. I was going to stop after day 3 due to the illness, but decided to let the cleanse flush it through. I have been following everything exactly, but I am unsure anything positive is happening. I need either support or a way to properly come off of a 6 day cleanse. Also, is it safe to stop after only 6 days, if that is what I decide to do? Thanks

angelina,
i really hope you find that drive. i believe the results will be well worth it if you keep going to day ten. peter says such discouragement is a detox symptom, and i believe your cold is as well. my day six was yesterday, and honestly i didn't feel like going on very much either. but you are so close. tomorrow is day seven, and that is a big number, very close to ten.
You can make it.
if for some reason you do deviate, i would start with liquids slowly for the first part of the day. however, to take care of that cold and conquer this i think you should keep going.
either way, the master cleanse will always be there waiting for you to try again.
Good luck and lemons!

Excellent advice! All I can do is echo the same sentiments. Please let us know how you are doing!

Day 6 and I am losing my drive! Time to CHANGE GEARS! ;)
First: the sore throat and flu-ish feelings are totally normal. I get that almost every time I cleanse.
Second: The desire to quit happens to most of us - especially on the weekend because you associate the weekend with pleasure, and well, eating is pleasurable. :)
Third: You'll kick yourself silly if you quit now - grit your teeth and see it through. Part of the reason 10 days is the minimum is because sometimes it takes that long for various changes to kick in.
On my last cleanse I had a stomach ache all the way up until Day 8 - then started feeling much better on Day 10 and went 3 or 4 more days. I would've gone longer but had a special event planned.
It's worth it to press through it all. You'll be glad you did. :)
Love,

Well, I am on day 8! I can't believe I have made it this far! I am still very sick, I haven't been able to sleep the last 4 nights due to this illness. My right lung feels infected and all I do is cough. It's the right side of my throat and the right lung that bother me. I can't lay down without coughing, it's a very dry cough. Am I right to be continuing if I have have an infection? I am so looking forward to the end. Every night when I feel the sickest, I tell myself I am not going to continue, but I wake up and go another day. I really appreciate your replys, it makes me feel so much better. Thank you so much!
