Today was my first day and I was tired at like 3:00 in the afternoon. My husband is doing this with me and he just slept too. I never realized that all that we do as americans is revolve everything around food (meeting with friends, going out, lunch, dinner). We eat just because it is lunch time, crazy!!
My first day was not so bad. The swf this morning was the most time consuming of the whole thing. I felt tired and then I would feel okay. Who knows! I am about to do the lax tea, and call it a night. Tomorrow is day 2. If anyone has any suggestions as insight to how it might be, I would greatly appreciate it. Good Night:p

Although I felt pretty decent day 1 and 2, I did take naps. Day 3 and 4 I was so lethargic that I pretty much stayed in bed all day and read magazines and watched movies. Then day 5 I was able to go out and do things. Most of those days I did get some exercise in, either yoga or a hike. Today is day 7 and it is the most hungry that I have ever felt, I keep smelling food and I don't know if it's real or imagined. I envy that your husband is doing it with you, probably makes it a lot easier to have each other as support. As for the SWF, try mixing it with warm water, I think it's a lot easier to take if you imagine that it's a flavorless soup. Yes I have been living the life of a hermit and have been avoiding all social contact because it always revolves around food or drinks. But yesterday, my girlfriend and I went to a mineral hot spring spa for some further detoxifying. I recommend it hightly!

Where do you live? I have to say we live in the middle of blah! Here in Cincinnati, I don't t think that they have such things, I will check it out though. I know, I got into my car yesterday an there were a bag of nuts from the day before, I just threw them in the back for later when I am allowed to have them. How many days are you going for?? Take Care!!

I live in California. But even where you are, there must be a place to go in the steam room to sweat it out and get a massage and/or a facial would be nice too. Anything to pamper yourself without food and to aid in the cleaning would be a great tonic. Today is day 8 and I have 2 more to go. Yesterday was a tough day because I was so hungry all day, I hope today is easier!

Yep!! I looked around for a mineral spring, NOTHING. But, my gym does have both a steam room and sauna. I am also going to have a facial too. I will plan that for later maybe day 6, for motivation. Thanks so much for the reply. Good Luck. Did you lose any weight? A lot of people here are for losing weight, that is all I see on the boards. I don't eat meat so I am pretty healthy anyways, with a vegetarian diet. Not too many toxins like mucas. Let me know how it is. Peace, love and light.

I'm doing the cleanse mostly for the detox but also to lose about 5 pounds that I gained while traveling through Central America recently. Lots of beans, cheese, tortilla and way too much rum! I'm a vegetarian also so my diet is pretty healthy, but I needed to have a clean start and get back into my routine. I've lost 1.5 inches off my waist so far. What day are you and how is it going?
